DIY Facilities-::-

Parvis Wharf
gives us the space and facilities to offer a range of DIY options
available to hire by the day, week or longer. All hires include
reasonable use of electricity for power tools etc and, of course,
we are on hand to bounce ideas off! |

Hardstanding
Hire. We have a number of excellent spaces around the wharf
giving a hard base to place your boat. Our specially constructed
stands raise your boat 25" (635mm) off the ground to allow
excellent access to the entire hull for below the line maintenance
- repairs, anti-fouling etc etc |
Barn
Workshop. The Barn can accomodate boats up to 35' for fully
covered work and weather protection, eg painting and other exterior
maintenance etc. Work benches, trestles, power sockets, good lighting
and a travelling gantry chain-lift all make the Barn an excellent
workshop for your boat. |

|
Wharf
Frontage. For those whose moorings lack power or do not
have a continuous edge, our Wharf Front is available for painting,
polishing or any other above-the-line or inside the boat maintenance
and fitting. Certain below the line work can also be accomodated

Dry
Storage. Longer term hard-standing storage is also available.
Ideal for those who wish to winterise their boats out of the water. |

Lifting.
Our crane (aka 'Kevin') can lift boats up to approximately 4 tonnes
for placement on the hardstanding, on our trailer for pushing in
to the barn, or to or from your trailer for launch/recovery. It
can also be used to lift one end of almost any boat for stern gear
or bow thruster maintenance. Click here
